Recycling Decals and Recycling Stickers

H.H.H. Incorporated has serviced the Waste and Recycling Industries since 1959.  As with other programs, terminology used in recycling programs varies by region throughout the United States.

Some of our customers prefer Commingled Recycling Decals to refer to the mixture of all recyclables into one bin.

On the other hand, other customers prefer to use Single Stream Recycling Decals to refer to the mixture of recyclable items.

However, the one common factor in all of these programs is that due to the rise of automated sorting machines, plastic bags have become a major headache for recyclers since they get intertwined with the gears of the machinery and cause the recycling lines to shut down.  As a result, haulers and recyclers are now marking their containers with No Plastic Bag decals to prevent the contamination of recyclables with plastic bags.

Besides Commingled and Single Stream decals, HHH Incorporated also offers a wide range of standard recycling stickers and recycling logos.

No Personal Cell Phone Usage Decals

In today’s litigious society, businesses are responsible for their employees actions.

What has your business done to protect itself from the legal liability for accidents that occur because one of your employees was talking on his or her cell phone?

Today, many corporations have a cell phone usage policy in place for their employees.  Some of those corporations communicate that policy through training sessions while others communicate it through an employee manual.  However, in the past year, many corporations have come to the realization that they should communicate the policy where it matters most – in the cab of each company vehicle.

This past year, corporations throughout the United States have begun placing decals in each company vehicle reminding employees that no personal cell phone usage is allowed while operating company equipment.

HHH Incorporated offers a stock version of the no personal cell phone usage decal and it offers customized versions of the decals to reflect company specific policies. H.H.H. Incorporated also offers bilingual versions of the decal (sized 3.5″ x 8″).

Alley Tracks Reflective Tape

In February 2010, H.H.H. Incorporated launched Alley Tracks Reflective Tape and the response from Haulers and Container Manufacturers has been overwhelming.

Prior to February 2010, haulers and container manufacturers were limited to either brittle reflective tape that would have to be cut by hand or they had to purchase expensive prepackaged strips of reflective tape.

Today, Alley Tracks solves both of those issues.

At only $65 per pre-cut roll you can now get flexible, economy grade reflective tape to mark the corners of your containers (about $0.58 of reflective material per container).

Alley Tracks 2″ x 150′ Roll of Reflective Tape

As with any new product, we have heard doubts. Will it Stick? Does it reflect?

In terms of the adhesive, have you ever tried to bend a 2″ x 4″ strip of reflective around the corner of a container? Well, now imagine that you have a material that can make 90 degree turns and conform to the bumps and imperfections in the surface of a container.   That flexible material with hi tack adhesive is Alley Tracks.

In terms of reflectivity, up close the material has a gray color to it – much like the reflective material found on safety vests. When viewed at a distance it reflects light extremely well and is highly visible.

Alley Tracks comes in 2″ x 150′ rolls at $45 per roll or it comes in 2″ x 2″ pre cut pieces or 2″ x 4″ pre cut pieces for $65 per roll.

If you are still a doubter, please contact us for some free samples. We’d be happy to mail you samples to test on your containers and see the difference a flexible reflective tape makes in the efficiency of your container shops.

Waste Decals – ANSI Required

H.H.H. Incorporated stocks waste decals (aka waste stickers) that are required to meet the ANSI Z245.x standards that have been set by ANSI and WASTEC for the Waste Industry.

To meet the ANSI Standards for Containers, all containers must have a 5″ x 14″ Caution-Warning Decal (#032) on the left side and on the right side of each container

as well as a 5″ x 7″ Caution Decal (#42R) on the front of the container.

In addition, depending on local regulations, at a minimum containers should have 2″ x 2″ reflective tape at each corner of the container.

H.H.H. Incorporated also sells this reflective tape for containers and is the exclusive distributor of Alley Tracks Reflective Tape which will be discussed in a later post.

What is the benefit to having your containers meet ANSI Standards?

The benefit to containers meeting ANSI standards is that in a court of law it shifts the burden of proof from your company having to prove that it was not negligent to having the injured person prove that your company was negligent.

While it is a small distinction, the shift in the burden of proof can potentially save your company millions of dollars should a person hurt themselves on or around one of your company’s containers.

For pricing information or to purchase these caution-warning and caution decals, visit H.H.H. Incorporated’s online store.
